a month agoI've been here tons of times over the past 20 years. Always great food and large portions. They'll give you free samples too! The first time I came here I was probably 10 years old and it's been my favorite little Asian restaurant in the mall since then. Other ones have come and gone but this one is the only one that has stayed there since I was a kid. I recommend this to anybody who's looking for a good Asian dish that will feed two. 7 months agoI was treated to lunch yesterday at Honolulu Barbeque. I ordered the bourbon chicken and green beans. Wow, so delicious and the price was right!! The chicken was flavorful and they used fresh green beans not canned. The service was great too! They let you sample a protein before you make a choice. I'll definitely be back!

7 months agoBest place in the area to get bourbon chicken. Sounds so random but they blow everyone else out the water. Their green beans were my number 1 craving while pregnant and now my daughter loves them too. Staff is always pleasant and quick

2 years agoThe shrimp fried rice is as about as good as you can find. My favorite go to place, I love the spicy beef. It is so tender with the right amount of hotness. The mango and bourbon chicken dishes are excellent as well.

2 years agoWalked at Chesterfield Towne Center today due to the rain. What a great mall and Honolulu BBQ, oh my, was amazing! Had the steamed veggies with bourbon chicken, delicious! And more than enough food, with a drink, under $9!

3 years agoNotice all the good reviews are old! Not impressed. Ordered noodles, spicy chicken, Hawaiian chicken, plantains, and a drink. The noodles were pretty bad - lacked flavor and not great. The spicy chicken also lacked flavor. The Hawaiian chicken was good but I got 1 piece of pineapple.....really? The plantains were good. The soda was awful, they are mixing more water in the soda than they are supposed to to save money. Soda sucked. Overall find a different place to eat.
